Getting Started

– Undeniable Passion. As cliché as it sounds, I am living out a (since) childhood dream by recording voiceovers for you. I have fun doing this and I like to invest in and support the brand that I am recording for.

– Versatile Talent. Clients have booked and enjoyed the versatility and variation I can bring to a script. You can hear it yourself by requesting a free audition today.

– I’m human. No AI here. While I love recording, I also love getting to meet you, my client. Whether you want to talk about your project or about why you should put pepperoni and pineapple on pizza, I am always happy to chat and build a fun and rewarding relationship!

– No Middle Man. You, The Script, and I. There is no one else and no third-party fees in the way of making quick, high quality voiceover magic [when booking directly through me].

– I’m a Friend. Okay, I know we didn’t go to school together and eat lunch in the cafeteria (school lunches = anxiety am I right?), but working with me should feel like working with a friend. Informal, efficient, fun, and friendly – those are the four words I your experience should be with me. Beyond all, I WANT your project to valiantly succeed – and we will work together to make sure that happens.

– Substantial Reinvestment. I invest a significant portion of VO income into continuous coaching, classes, and other resources so that, just like fine wine, this voice gets better with age. With each voiceover, you can expect consistent and improved quality from a highly trained and experienced voiceover artist.

– Professional Recording. All voiceovers are recorded in an acoustically-treated studio, so you are receiving clean, broadcast quality audio each time. I master the audio at no extra cost to you, because you do not deserve anything less. Music and Sound Effect costs do apply if requested.

– Diverse, Quality VO Network. If my voice isn’t the right fit for your project, I have an extensive network of top-tier VO’s that will be. We can work together and find the VO that you want.

Quick Turnaround!  As a fellow consumer, I get it; in today’s age, we need things now. For most projects, you will have your voiceover within 24 hours.

I Listen. You are the one with the message, I am the one delivering it, and I take great humbleness and responsibility in doing so. I will listen to your direction and everything else you share to ensure that you receive a voiceover that you are proud to use.

I Care. You are investing your hard-earned income into this voiceover, so I will make every opportunity to go above and beyond to help you realize that you chose the right voiceover artist.

I predominantly book in Commercial, Corporate Narration, Medical & Technical Narration, Podcast Intros, Telephony / IVR, Cybersecurity Narration, Explainers, and eLearning. If there is a style that you are interested in and are wondering if my voice would be the right fit, I highly encourage you to request a 100% Free Audition today!

This was not a question I ever predicted I would get to add to my FAQ, but I am grateful to be able to! Many people have asked me about how to get into voiceover (which has been a dream since I was a kid), and I would love to talk to you about how I got started, lessons learned, and how you can enter the industry if you are up and able for it, save money while doing it, have fun, and work with amazing people. I am not a coach, and I have a healthy list of recommended coaches, but I would be happy to discuss my experience and how I got into this passion of mine, how you can, and more for a sixty minute session over Zoom for a nominal fee. Reach out to me, and we will set something fun up! 🙂

Once you confirm your contract, I get to work quickly and can deliver as soon as within the hour it was requested, but generally quote a turnaround of 12 to 24 hours for most projects. If your voiceover is urgent, please let me know up front and I will make every effort to cater to your deadline. Regardless of urgency or not, I know you need your voiceover at the speed of now, so trust that once that contract is signed, you are my priority.

Rates / quotes are uniquely decided on a project-by-project basis, but I aim to quote competively with the industry-respected GVAA Rate Guide. I work to tailor the quote to your project, usage and budget, so whether you are ready to book now or have budget questions, feel free to reach out and let’s bring your script to life!

Please don’t let your question go unanswered! Contact me and I will be more than happy to answer it (and maybe even include it in these FAQ’s).

This is a great and very important question! It makes sure that you have a great script and that I can give it a great Reid (see what I did there?). Some things I suggest:

  • Read your script out loud – does it sound natural? Does it sound rushed? Does it not feel “right”? Write it how you want it to naturally sound.
  • Time it yourself – 30 seconds commercials are fun, 15 second commercials are fast. You want to make sure your script (and I) can hit the timer while still maintaining the message.
  • Punctuation is our best friend – perhaps you want a long pause; you can notate that by “…” and throwing the following part on a new line. Maybe you want a gentle pause indicated by a comma. Whatever it is, a well-punctuated script leads to a well-done voiceover!
  • Pronunciation please – if a word may be complex to pronounce for whatever reason, a pronunciation reference (audio is a bonus) can help save us both time and help get that recording into your hands even faster.
  • Proofread – a readthrough from you and other peers to verify the script reads and times well is a great time and cost-savings step!
  • Provide a finalized script – ensuring that the script you provide is finalized helps ensure quality and helps save time and cost. It is certainly understandable that sometimes scripts can change last minute, often out of our control, so I will be prepared and ready to help get you your winning voiceover.

Still not certain about your script or where to go? I do offer proofreading and script writing services. Feel free to shoot me and email and we can chat! 🙂

Booking & Recording

If for whatever reason you are not completely satisfied, neither am I. We will work together until we get to yes!

For an error in my performance (pronunciation, tempo, tone, and/or technical glitch), there is no fee for a secondary take in most cases.
If there is a script change before, during, or after recording, fees may apply.
The agreement you will receive contains a detailed revision policy, and I invite you to ask any and all questions that you may have throughout our entire experience working together. As a consumer myself, I do not like nor subscribe to hidden fees or want any surprises, and by choosing me, I can assure you that you will not have any. 🙂

To improve the efficiency for my clients and myself, all contract signing is now done through a single, straight-forward solution. Once you receive the email with your contract, there will be instructions to digitally review and sign it.

If you have any questions on your contract, please by all means contact me. Please do not let your question go unanswered; I’d love to help give you peace of mind and the confidence that you are working with the right VO, and I will not stop until you are happy. 🙂
